Aline Martel founded Daylight Wellness Therapy to support and give help to Ontario residents struggling with depression and anxiety disorders.
Originating from a charming French Ontario community, Aline went on to complete a master’s degree in Social Work and a bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her education set her up for twenty-three successful years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, such as speciality clinics and crisis intervention, which made her a proficient clinician.
Aline, albeit successful, remains down-to-earth and genuine in her practices and will work hard to meet any patient at the place they are to support self-discovery, healing, and positive change. Services are offered in French and English, as well as online and in-person, to help anyone in their preferred way.
Aline has provided clinical supervision to social work students, and with them has worked with a wide variety of patients from all different walks of life. She’s helped patients with many different challenges, such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Her approach focuses on the development of custom therapy visions and goals so that every patient receives the tailored help they need. She is specialized in many types of treatments, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which has been proven to aid in cases of depression and anxiety.
